Ball

You can transform your character into a ball to gain access to special games that can be played in the Papermint world. To get the ball shape click on the ball-button in the chat window. Your character jumps in the air as a ball and you can choose the rolling direction by using the left-arrow and right-arrow buttons on your keyboard. To quit the ball mode left-click on the ball-button or bump into a purple tile.

Mind that you cannot change the ball's direction during rolling. Only when you roll over a trampoline or bump into another character you can change the rolling direction again.

Tiles

When your ball rolls you will earn points for each tile you have passed and you will experience the Papermint world differently: The world has changed into tiles with green, yellow and purple colours.

  • Green: Passable tiles.
  • Yellow: Other characters, bumpers or trampolines from which you can bounce off and/or change your rolling direction.
  • Purple: Obstacles which stopp your rolling and retransfrom your character from ball shape.

Bumpers

While you are in ball mode you can bounce off bumpers. When you hit a bumper your collected points since your last bounce are added to your total collected points. Bumpers have numbers on them like 0, 1, 2 etc. which multiply your collected points.

Trampoline

When you roll over a trampline you can readjust your rolling direction by using the left-arrow and right-arrow keys of your keyboard.

Other Characters

If you bump into a character, then the other player can choose the new rolling direction. However you can influence the other player's choice by choosing a left or right spin. To choose a spin use the left-arrow and right-arrow button of your keyboard.

Fusion

To create a fusion two balls must collide. During a fusion the total collected points from both players are added and each player can readjust the character's rolling direction. Fusions are a powerful way to boost your ball high score, especially when both characters have collected many points in their current ball shape.

Points

While you are rolling your character collects points for each passed tile. When you bump into something on a yellow tile your collected points are added to the total points of your current ball session. When you bounce off a bumper, all future visited tile points are multiplied with the number on the bumper. This multiplier exists until you bump into another object. If you bump into a red tile object your ball session ends and your total points are added to your high score table. Bumping into a red tile also discards the points you gained since your last bounce.

Fields
