World View

Basics

To walk with your character in the Papermint world use the four arrow-keys on your keyboard.
In rooms you can rotate the camera around your character by using the left and right arrow-keys.
If you encounter a usable object then the mouse changes into a hand, needle or another form.
To control your character with the mouse hold the right mouse button pressed (the mouse cursor changes into a direction arrow) and move the mouse in the desired walking direction.

World View

In the world view you see your character in the Papermint world and the following functions:

Map: Displays useful things that can be found on the island.

Help: Opens the online help pages.

Mail friend: Send email notification to a friend.

Invite friend: Invite a friend to join Papermint.

Chat

The chat is always visible and includes many important functions.

Chat Display: Read the messages that other players wrote into the chat.

Chat Input: Write messages into the chat.

Emotion Bar: Change the current mood of your character.

Animations: Change the current animation of your character.

Channels: Activate/Deactivate various chat channels.

Topics: Join a topic from the topic list.

Friends: Your friends list gives you quick access to your buddies.

Settings: Change language, volume or graphics settings.

Ball: Transform your character into a ball and back.
